Finding Calm in Chaos
The term “ Social distancing” , recently coined in the COVID phase is possibly a misnomer; considering the distancing that we already have in our lives. What we can implement is a physical separation let alone from a cognitive perspective. Gone are those days when we used to forcibly bond with people or relatives just for the sake of maintaining relationships. However, the lock-down separation seems to affect, just because its imposed upon us. Even if it weren’t the case, people are seldom able to excavate their souls and bring out their feelings with their family now-a-days. A chronic loneliness lies within each of us which is not realized unless we sit back and reflect. The entire objective of starting and/or having a family takes a backseat eventually and we must uphold the society wheel. Our parents say, quote,” The journey does matter, not the destination”.
